Diablo Country Club is excited to announce openings for our full time Landscaping position.  This position will be responsible for daily maintenance of all the grounds surrounding the golf course primarily club house and tennis facilities course at Diablo Country Club.  This is a great opportunity to be part of an exceptional team and workplace.  Most of our employees have been with us for many years, and we are looking to add individuals who can be with us for many more.  We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and a family atmosphere to our membership.

General Purpose:

Daily maintenance of our landscaping around the golf course and property.

Benefits:

Medical Insurance, PTO, Uniforms, Meals, Golf Privileges, and 401(K).  This position is for a full 40hr work week. Pay $20-25 based on experience.

Additional Information:

This job will often have work days beginning at 5:30-6AM and end at 2-2:30PM.  Being on time and available is very important.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must bring a great attitude, be reliable and enjoy working in a team oriented environment.  

• Must have availability to work weekdays and weekend mornings

• Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of conditions.

Physical Demands:

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time, lifting, twisting, crouching, and the ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. safely.  All efforts will be made to accommodate limitations.

Certificates/Licenses:

Valid Driver’s License is necessary for this position.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• General cleaning of grounds.
• Ability to trim and prune plantings.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program for all plants
• Ensure all grounds are always in a clean and tidy manner.
• Assist our lead landscaper with any necessary tasks.
• Maintain clean and organized tools and work area.
• Operating various pieces of equipment when needed, such as mowers, blowers, tillers, etc.
