ECP is a World Class Company.As VP Facilities, you will oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensuring that facilities are safe and well-functioning.Requirements:Essential Functions:Manages, plans, and coordinates, through a staff of skilled, semiskilled, and unskilled trade personnel, activities concerned with the operation, repair, maintenance, and construction of facilities, equipment, buildings, and grounds to minimize interruption and improve efficiency.Plans and oversees such matters as design and development of facilities operations, formulation of operating rules, regulations, and procedures.Develops safety procedures for use in the event of accidents, fires, or other emergencies.Inspects property facilities or reviews inspection reports, to determine repairs, replacement, or improvements required.Hires, trains, and supervises building service personnel.Assigns workers to duties such as maintenance, repair, or renovation and obtain bids for additional work from outside contractorsCollaborating with owner and management on budgeting for facility's needs.This position is responsible for:Plan and coordinate all installations ( heat, cooling, electricity etc.) and refurbishmentsManage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standardsInspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovationsReview utilities consumption and strive to minimize costsSupervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractorsHandle insurance plans and service contracts for outside vendors or contractorsAdminister the organizations fleet programKeep financial and non-financial recordsPerform analysis and forecastingKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practicesKnowledge of basic accounting and finance principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, vendors and team members.Excellent organizational and leadership skillsGood analytical/critical thinking and problem-solving skillsRequired:BS/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field or equivalent experience is requiredRelevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantageAt Ethan Conrad Properties, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which can be seen throughout every step of an ECP employee's journey.
